Since the Xmas holidays started, I have been writing a to-do list which I aim to complete before the end!

During the past week I have been working extra hours at my part-time job at a department store...boy did I work my butt off!...lol I was working 9am - 8pm everyday 'cept monday and it has been so tiring...guess I have been catchin up my sleep now....

On Xmas day all the family came to ours for Xmas Dinner as usual which is fun. Although we dont celebrate xmas...we actually kinda do in the family getogether sense...so yeh was a whole lotta fun..ended up watchin movies and playing charades..was hilarious!haha

Weird the build up towards Xmas...the bum rush and queues for presents and what for just one day and then its all over...its just so much better spending good, fun quality time with the family..thats what it should all be about!

Other than Xmas this week...hmm...went out with family and spent time with them yesterday...today I was sposed to go with my mom n sis to visit an old neighbour who used to look after my siblings n i when we were 'ickle. So sad...her family hardly visit her and she spent Xmas alone so I had hoped to cheer her up :)...but was cancelled due to the snow. I'll defo go to visit her before my break is over though...

Tomorrow Im going to my mom's school to help put up some displays should be good...Gosh I do have lots of little jobs to do actually just thinking about it.

At this moment in time Im tryin to log into UCAS to apply to uni...but aah..ive forgotten my password which isnt good at all...so im kinda stumped at the mo'.

Not had a very productive day I guess today..tried to get some of my art onto TIG Global Gallery but failed due to an error..so jus mailed them as I really wana get that done before Im back at art coll!

Also arranging to meet friends..i havent seen since before the summer!lol

And emailing friends from Summer School and World Youth Congress :)

I was checking out the Halifax Congress which I really want to go to but Im not too sure Ill be able to afford it:( ....as I have to pay for Barcelona in a few weeks and I have family functions and weddings to attend in the summer plus the fairtrade campaign...

I'll have to see...

Heyza!(hehe my new made up word!)

Well Im have to congratulate myself as I finally..like FINALLY got round to uploadin photos of my art on TIG. Yay!...Although I have lots more to upload..much of my recent work. Im glad Ive got some stuff on. At the moment Ive put on my A Level work..which is about hmm....a year old..in particular the road signs which was my fave project by far! It was pretty groovy as I jazzed up actual road signs(given by the Highway Agency..cheers!)in the style of psychedelic poster art!

Other than that...yesterday I got feedbaack from my portfolio which was much awaited...seriously I just wanna get stuck into my specialism now! Feedback was pretty damn good..I PASSED!(phew I didnt get referred..almost coz they didnt see my THS notes..but I put them in..musta missed them!)Hm...oh yeah and I chose my specialism...woo hoo...I was contemplating whether to do vis comm or fine art...but I liked the idea of pursuing fine art as its such a broad area and coz I'd like to explore and develop more of my hmm...political art. Im glad Ive sorted that..actually afterwards I had a BUZZ..and went home to research unis n courses..which was great..better start writing my personal statement too soon. Interviews are only like 3 MONTHS away and thats gonna fly by!hehe

Rite, I have a couple a jobs to do..so ima get on with those and then I may post some more art on here later!

Actually had a rockin' weekend! Hasnt been too bad (apart from a very sore throat - I sound like croakin frog...lol :S)

Anyways...Work wasnt too bad....Super Duper Busy due to Xmas but was alrite...actually gave in my extra hours..im planning on wrkn Sunday...then Tuesday to Saturday...well kinda do need the money as I still have the Barcelona Art Trip to pay off in January(im really excited about goin'..it just looks amazing!)

Sunday - Travelled to London by train which was speedy and then lol...hopepd on the tube n i dropped my sis off at Aldgate for a meeting she had to attend(hehe was hilarious as she was stressin over which lines to take..in the end though id drop her off!)....then I made my way to the Embankment...n wlkd it to Parliament Square...I just love how multicultural and cosmopolitan London is...hehe having seconds thoughts on applying to university there now.

I attended The 2005 FairTrade Fair which I thought was pretty kewl. I mean it was small and overcrowded but they had so many beautiful and intricate handcrafted items, interesting literature and lotsa world music there which was great. The atmosphere was amazing and to hear about the history of the goods/items was really kewl! I also made some contacts there who were more than willing to help out at a Fair Trade event I hope to organise in the near future! So yeh overall it was a pretty rockin' event!

Then afterwards had a few hours to kill before heading to Coventry with my sis...so we had sumthing to eat n walked about....eventually..we got back to the Uni safely at 11pm..lol n went straight to sleep!....

Unfortunately I cancelled the coffee with my mates :(...as my throat has got pretty bad..n i can hardly tlk..maybe next week.

On that note - A friend of mine Anoushka(also a member of TIG!) frm WYC left me msg about a new project she is startin up(lol all hush hush at the moment...i didnt get many details!) so I hope to meet up with her next week too...should be good to catch up!

Today Ive just been updating things..getting in touch with ppl, and I jus started the Make Solihull Fair Trade Project on TIG...so I can let everyone know whats happening in the UK..(in Solihull). So yeah..Im glad Ive got that started! :D

Im off now - as I have a self assessment to write for tomorrow...Ive finally got to choose my specialism :S

Yay...I havent been to London in yonks!..Im also excited because Im gonna attend the 2005 Fair Trade Fair in Parliament Square which should be a whole lotta fun n very interesting...

Also...its kinda good...coz I felt that Ive worked my butt off soooooo much this week...that a day off to chill and have fun is much needed!

Hehe...Early start though tomorrow :S....

Then Im stayin with my sis in Coventry and meetin up with sum of my mates that go to uni there...Im really really looking fwd to meetin up with them...b/c seriously since i started B'ville...I havent had much time to hang out with my friends...so that should be fun, havin a good ole natter before they go to their lectures.

Gonna head off home after me thinks..as I have to write a self assessment for my tutor who Im meeting on Tuesday to discuss my progress in art and what im finally gonna specialise in....

You know what??....I feel lost without a sense of direction...like as explained b4..before I attended ISS 2005 and WYC 2005...cliched as it sounds...I really had a passion for fashion...I mean I loved designing clothes...and I really had some fab ideas to raise the awareness of sustainable clothing as I thoroughly enjoyed designing my own collection of sustainable clothes made from recycled materials!

However, since then....I feel as if I've lost all that buzz n energy and creativity...and it really does SUCK...when ppl around know what they wanna go into and do with their lives..when im stuck being so indecisive!(Grr!...lol)

Might sounds odd or stupid...but I know what degree I want to do..(Photography+Journalism/Photojournalism)...but Im not sure what to specialise in...I think either Fine Art of Vis Comm...maybe...really have to tlk to Jackie about it...AAAaaah!

Well...well...well...

Im off now 11pm...n i need schleep b4 gettin up at 7am!

OMGosh!!

Wahey...I finally finished my ArT at 3AM!...lol tried hard to stay awake whilst dozing off now n agen annotating my sketchbook....hehe not so good!

But Im just so glad..Ive got it all over and completed!Wooooooooo...lol

Im really really tired now though...I can feel it...me head hurts and i have a back ache...so now chillin away....actually gonna attempt to give my room a good clean..way too much junk in there!

Erm...and then I actually have a plan. I REALLY need to research/think/jot down what specialism Im gonna go for...and in the long term( not so long term now...3 MONTHS til interviews for UNI...)..hmmm...yeah so degrees/course of interests...

I think I know for definite that I want to apply to do a combined course ...as I dont want to restrict myself too much...I would like to combine something along the lines of journalism...hmmmmmm

Im off for a while now...
