Hmm....

Hey...

*yawns* I'm soooooo tired - actually I suppose that statement is kinda not that true as I only got up like 2 hours ago. I had a good sleep.

Yesterday, work was crazy. It was so busy!!However it was kinda boring at the same time as I didnt have anything to do..usually I work on the displays for the department but it seemed like everything was done. I decided to dust it a bit...apparently we have a 'house keeping' competition up and the dept are really big on it...shame the managers dont dust though!

On that note...I predicted right in terms of my Section Manager having a word with me!Apparently...out of the blue that is a report came down on me for my sick days. She was going on about how the branch avg is 4% and mine was nearly 6%...to be honest i think she wanted me to argue with her..but i did the complete opposite. I not bothered attitude..hehe. Seriously though I've been ill for the days i have take n time off for...Afterwards though something kind of clicked though...I reckon they were pissed off that I wasnt in last week and that they got a report.Ah well..hehe im counting down the days til i leave..woo hoo!

Moving on...eh..I have my seminare presentation in a week..aah..its on the artist George Grosz who I hadnt heard of...but yeh I'll be relieved when it's over!

Oh yeah I gave in my art project: journey, sometime last week and also had a tutor meeting. It was a good one-to-one coz I told him how I felt about the whole project and thats it wasnt my best. It start off too well and then i had a good lot of rough patches...but I did explain that I am optimistic about the next and final project: MDG's.

Today I hope to complete my seminar paper and also start researchin artists for my final project.

Hmm..so all is kewl.

Peace out..

Eh...not been such a great week :OS

Hey...

Eh..this week hasnt gone to well.
(actually i really shouldnt be on here but i wanted to post this on my blog).

So...well at the start of the week..i was pretty busy trying to get my art project completed for thursday. Also got my statement of intent for my final project in to my tutor to check...and i got the feelin he wasnt diggin my idea which sucked..but im still gonna go ahead and do it regardless of what he thinks! Can't remember if i mentioned it before..but its based on raising the awareness of the MDG's. He said something along the lines of - its about art...not politics...grr..lol..im like whatever!

Wednseday I travelled to Cardiff Met Uni to check out the Fine Art Dept there....eh really didnt go to well. On the way there I had a headache but didnt think much of it...lol I ended up walking around for nearly an hour before I found the building...then during the fine art tlk I felt really dizzy and hot....then all i remeber is blacking out and fainting..(looking back at it now...aah it was so embarris
sing fainting with 40 students around!hehe)but yeah came around..this mother and daughter helped me which was kind...then made my way to reception...felt worse...actually i felt like crying but i didnt..kinda conked out on the seats...then came around....informed the receptionists who got a first aider to me....it has to have been the worse day ive had...had a splitting headache...
sweet though this guy in the tlk..came up and asked if i needed anything and if he could do anything...i thanked him but just wanted to be alone and clear my head. But I didn't want to go home without seeing the facilities otherwise it would have been a wasted trip..so about an hour later...I asked a student of the uni if she would show me around quickly...which was much appreciated. I liked it...had pretty good studio space..good natural light and the tutors seemed very supportive. So it was defo a maybe on UCAS.

So yeah...got picked up from the station and came home told my mom all about it..who wanted to rush me to casualty..(i was like nooooo...its not that serious..)...but still didnt feel too good..went to docs yesterday who wanted me to have some tests done..so went to the hospital..and i find out the results..next week sometime. Eh. I just hope its nothing serious - fingers crossed!

I got my art deadline extended to Monday and I don't think I'll go to work tomorrow I think I should rest at home.

So yeah my week hasnt been all that great...maybe next week will be better!!

I need to get back to completing some art now so I'll type up later.

Peace out,

xxx

Busy Busy Busy!

I thought I'd post my last post on here for a while as this week I'm gonna be pretty busy...completing my art project. The time has flown by pretty fast and I still havent learnt to start my work earlier...hehe. This project didn't start off too well though..but anyways on a positive note everything is kewl now.

This week is the start of Fairtrade Fortnight and I really wanted to help at the stall I've set up but I have got to get my work done. Shelley and Sahdya(my sis) are gonna hold it this week and it should be interesting to find out the feedback.Good luck to anyone else who is holding an event for Fairtrade fortnight.

Hm...Ive just been chocabloc for a while I guess. What have I been upto? Art, art and more stuff related to art! I;ve just devised my Plan Of Action for this week which is rockin'! Today I worked on completing my UCAS form..yay its done but not dusted..as I have to finalise my unis. On that note I hope to visit Cardiff Met this week to check out the art course there(fingers crossed I hope I dig it!) I completed the statement of intent for my final art project. I hope to raise the awareness of the MDG's through a series of mixed media panels...I really hope it starts off well...it has so far I have a good feeling about it :)

Ohh yeah the only kinda break I had was to see Jack Johnson :) he was wow..I'd really love to see him again! So mellow and mind kinda music :D

Well...I guess I best be off to do some more work...:S

Much peace and love...

Jack Johnson was AMAZING!

Wow!!! Thankyou Jack for putting on a spectacular show...AMAZING!

I first heard of JJ whilst reading a newspaper about a year or so ago and I remember a celebrity (Heidi Klum) saying that she would take his cd with her as one of the items on a desert island! (me too!!)
I'm so glad I decided to check out his music..I love it so much..wow...its all so meaningful, mellow and awesome. I love listening to it when I'm working on my art...really motivates and inspires me..

Last Night was really really good fun...relaxing and singing along to his music...you can see how passionate he is about his music and he seems like a really sweet person!

Oh yeah the support acts were groovy...I was also diggin the Sunshine and Girl I wanna lay you down Song......perfect!

Hehe..Get well soon to JJ as he seems to be coming down with a cold.

Hope to see check him out again in the UK very soon!

Peace and love
